SUB:-incorrect accounting of telephone bills under e-payment-reg

          Regional Office has informed about the incorrect booking of telephone bills at Tamarachery MDG, while rebooking the BSNL bills pertaining to that of BO.

          On 22.12.2013 an amount of Rs 101323/- was accounted in respect of account number 504618179 dtd 12.10.2013 instead of Rs 232/- and an amount of Rs 101315/- was accounted in respect of account number 50454768 dated 12.10.2013 instead of Rs 156/-. This error occurred due to selection of wrong biller before scanning the bills which resulted in the wrong input of data.

          Hence it is requested to bring to the notice of all concerned to ensure the selection of correct biller  before scanning the bills so as  to avoid any such errors mentioned above in future.
