          Sub:-Delivery of Telephone bills-reg.

          Circle office on analysis of the short fall in telephone revenue collection has pointed out that one of the reasons for the short fall is due to the delayed despatch of bills from BPC resulting in the delayed receipt/delivery of telephone bills at the delivery Post offices. As the Post offices are not accepting the payments without bills, the customers are moving to BSNL outlets for making payment of their bills. Hence to avoid this it is suggested

·         To insist BSNL to present the bills before 7^th of every month

·         BPCs to ensure that the bills are processed and dispatched immediately without any held up.

·         To ensure that the bills are delivered through delivery staff well in advance of the date of payment prescribed without fine.
