          The details of international money transfer schemes for payment in Post offices at a glance is as follows:-

1.    The following services are available in the Post Offices to effect payment to the customers.

a.    Western Union Money Transfer

b.    Money Gram

c.    IFS MO(from France)

d.    Instant Cash (IFSMO from UAE).

2.    Salient features include the following

a.    Payment on the basis of an Identification Number furnished by the Payee.

b.    Payee Identification through Photo ID as per KYC Norms.

c.    Compliance on AML/CFT guidelines for payment.

d.    Payment at any Post Office installed with eMO Service.

3.    The identification number format for the above services is as under:

a.     Money Gram                        8 digits (from  250 Countries)

b.    IFSMO                                 26 digits (From France)

c.    Instant Cash( IFS MO)           9 digits ( from  UAE)

d.    Western Union                    10 digits ( from 250 Countries)

          Hence all  Post offices identified are requested to effect payment immediately when the payee approaches  the Post office with the number and Photo ID. Please ensure that under no circumstances should a customer be sent from one PO to another. Any technical difficulties in this regard may be settled immediately on contacting the System Administrators/Tech Branch, Divisional Office.
