          This is regarding the popularization of sale of philatelic stamps through e-post office.

          Philately, an integral part of postal operations, has immense potential to generate revenue. Some new initiatives have been started for philately, but due to lack of publicity it has not realized its full potential.

          One way of popularizing the sale of philately stamps is through online placing orders like an e-commerce product.DOP have epostoffice which is a portal of department of posts for various online transactions for the retail customers. The philately section of the www.epostoffice.gov.in has many stamps listed on it which can be used for sale of philatelic stamps.

          My stamp of personalized stamp is another product with immense potential. Stamp sheets on flowers are available at Trivandrum and Calicut bureau.

           Hence it is requested to give wide publicity on the sale of philatelic stamps through e-postoffice and also popularize ‘MY STAMP’ through counters/delivery staff.
