Recording of weight of bags closed by Delhi Foreign Post at each handling point

All  PMs/ SPMs  are  here  by  advised  to  record  the  weight  of  Foreign  Mail  bags/parcels/articles at  the  time  of   receipt  from  RMS/Speedpost  hub

itself.Actual  weight  of  bag/article ascertained  by   physical  weighing  should  be  noted  on  tha  mail list/ Regd/PL  list   received. This  direction  is  issued  to  facilitate  investigation  in case  of  abstraction  of  foreign    articles  and  also  to  locate  the  erring  office  properly.

This  is  issued  as  per  direction of  RO/CO  and  is  to  be  followed  without  fail
