Sub:- Customs clearance of International EMS articles containing medicines-reg.

          This is regarding the booking of International EMS articles containing medicines. Communication received vide RO letter no BD/1-1/2012 dated at Calicut the 12.11.2013 is reiterated for strict compliance:-

          “It is mandatory that all the medicines sent to foreign countries should bear No Objection Certificate from ADC (Assistant Drugs Controller) along with the customs declaration, Doctors prescription and Medical bill.”

          Hence it is requested to follow strictly the above instructions on booking of medicines to foreign countries so as to avoid return of SPAs containing medicines by the customs.
