 Sub:-Collection of water charges through e-payment -reg.

          Please refer to the e-mail cited above. Circle office has informed that the facility of collection of water charges through e-payment for Kerala water authority has been extended to KWA Division(Palakkad Sub Division) comprising of Pirayiri area, Marutharod area, Malampuzha area, Akathethara Area, Puduppariyaram area,Pudussery area & Palakkad Municipality.

          Hence all are requested to accept water bills under e-payment with biller ID 2743 and biller name KWA. When the customer presents the bill the counter PA has to enter the consumer ID, Bill Number, Consumer Number, Consumer Name and Bill amount plus e-payment commission. The e-payment commission as per the following rate slab plus service tax and education cess prevailing as on date rounded off to the next higher rupee should be collected from the consumer in addition to the water charges levied by the Water authority.

Example:-For a bill of amount Rs 45/-, Rs 45(bill amount)+Rs 12(commission)=Rs 57/- needs to be collected from the customer.
