          Sub:  Transit time of RLs and performance of Mail offices - reg

          Postmaster General has intimated that irregularities in closing of registered bags, delivery and updation of articles at POs affect the performance of concerned RMS offices adversely and following instructions are reiterated to avoid such problems.

1.  All offices are directed to ensure proper closing of TD / NTD bags as per instructions issued earlier. Bag labels should bear clear information on the type of bag, date, name of office prepared etc both for Registered and Speed bags.
2. PMs/ SPMs may ensure that instructions to delivery staff issued during Project arrow delivery training conducted recently are being adhered properly both for RLs and SPAs
3. Delivery data pertaining to BOs should reach at SO without delay and the same must be updated in concerned delivery modules immediately.
4. RNet client and Speednet client should be communicated daily without any lapse.
