booking of SPAs weighing more than 200 gms-reg

The following instructions regarding the booking of SPAs weighing more than 200 gms , already e-mailed on 13/12/2012, may strictly be followed  so as to avoid delay of SPA Transmission at TSR Hub.

          Sub:- - booking of speed post articles  weighing more than 200 gms-reg.

R O vide letter no BD/1-1-16/2011 dated 03.12.2012 has strictly instructed that all speed post articles brought for booking weighing more than 200 gms should be checked by the counter staff and a certificate as given below should be obtained from the customer:

Certified that the article contain (*)

a)  Only documents or letters

b)  Items which are not prohibited for air transmission

c)  The article is booked without opening and I agree for its transmission by surface only.

 (* strike out whichever is not applicable)

Hence all concerned may please be instructed to ensure that correct procedure is followed when booking the speed post articles of weight more than 200 gms.

The list of items prohibited for air transmission ,communicated vide this office Endt no BD/SPC Rlgs-Dlgs dated 07/06/2012 , is to be exhibited in all Speed post booking offices/counter for information of the public.
