During the visit to postoffices by a team of officers in
the specioal drive conducted to analyse the reason for high
transit time for registered articles delivered in Kerala CIrcle
it has been noticed that BO delivered articles were not
updated with actual date of delivery.The delivery informations
were seen fed without altering the default date against the
BO transaction date in the postman module. Another alarming
irregularity noticed was that account offices of the BO's are
not updating BO delivery information on daily basis, giving no
importance on this vital requirement especially during the
absence of regular official entrusted with this work.
Hence it is hereby instructed that updation of BO
delivered articles should be done after selecting the actual
date in the option BO transaction date on daily basis before
selecting the delivered remark in postman module under BO
remark menu
